The Toughman Triathlon is a Half Ironman race in the Westchester, New York town of Croton-On-Hudson. Toughman is becoming known as "the athlete's race" and is known for its attention to detail and dedicated staff, which has many years of racing experience themselves. Also, ToughKids, a growing youth triathlon series, holds its championship race on the Saturday before the adult race. The race site is beautiful Croton Point Park at the Hudson River, just 30 minutes north of the New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut and Long Island metro areas. The race website is www.toughmantri.com http://www.toughmantri.com/ .

Certified Active Release doctors have been involved with both pre and post-race care of the Toughman competitors as part of the health care team at the race since the first race in 2008. The ART doctors work with the race coverage program of Sports Chiropractors of New York (SCNY). SCNY is a non-profit state association providing doctors for volunteer event coverage as well as continuing education programs.
